CWB 2008 Absolute Platinum Wakeboard

Chances are at some point in your riding you have either ridden an Absolute, or a shape created from one. Known as one of the most influential shapes, the Absolute is again delivered with Zane Schwenk's seal of approval. Knowing what sells and what is best for the industry, Zane has always created shapes that not only ride well for the beginner, but also perform for the ripper.

The latest Absolute shape continues the tradition of awesome. The 08 uses longer molded fins that have a cupped shape adding additional bite on edge. CWB also added a turned down rail for additional edge lock as well as a slight cupped rail to make this a hard edger with a forgiving ride when flat. The Absolute was the first shape to use a center spine for landings, and now most every shape on the market has one. Also, CWB was the first to innovate top shaping used in the Absolute and now this tech is also used on almost every board in the industry. Using flex pattern technology called X Flex, this board has been proven to do what it takes to progress the rider and spring off the wake better than ever. If you haven’t yet noticed, the Absolute has continually set the standard for what makes a shape perform the best.

PT78 core:
The core trims more than a pound out of the deck by using a far lighter foam, two full sheets of carbon graphite, and hollow fiberglass rods throughout. All of these things add up to give you an ultra stiff and ultra light deck that will react faster, pop harder, and accelerate like a rocket.

Zeus bindings:
The most supportive, highest, stiffest, and strongest holding boot in the line. The Zeus has been around for years and has always been the boot that gets the bells and whistles. For 2008 CWB wanted to deliver a boot line that caters to all riding styles and left the Zeus for those who like a high wrap that holds you down like a snowboard boot. Many riders like that feel of knowing you are locked in and every movement will translate to the board, so we added a full inch in height to the wrap for 08. The beauty of the Zeus is you will have unmatched hold, but at the same time come out in a hard fall. The Zeus also uses the new 6 Plate, new Lock Jaw, and new Switch Hinge. This combined with the new stretch friendly leather creates a boot that not only will own the boot wall in looks but in function as well.

135cm, 6.6lbs, 2.9" subtle 3 stage rocker, 16.9" waist width, 10.1" tip/tail width, 21.5"-25.5" stance width, rider weight up to 170lbs.
141cm, 6.9lbs, 3.1" subtle 3 stage rocker, 16.9" waist width, 10.1" tip/tail width, 22.5"-26.5" stance width, rider weight 150lbs and up.
