It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to set up the Aqua
Jump attachments, and another 10 to 15 minutes to attach
them properly to the Aqua Jump. |
| What are the tubes made
of? |
The tube material is the same high-grade material
used in ocean-going inflatables and Zodiak boats. It's
28oz., 1000 Denier, UV-treated PVC vinyl. All seams are
heat-welded for maximum strength and doubled at key
stress points. |
| Can the Aqua Jump
attachments be used in salt water? |
Yes, the Aqua Jump attachments can be used in the
ocean and other salt water bodies. |
| Will the Aqua Jump
attachments fade in the sun? |
The tube material will retain retain its brilliance
for years because it is UV-treated. |
| Can the Aqua Jump
attachments be left out in the water? |
Most people leave their Aqua Jump attachments in the
water for the season. There are two things to consider:
1)your local regulations for anchoring and 2) if the
areas is consistently exposed to high winds. |
| How deep does the water
have to be to use the Aqua Jump attachments? |
Like the Aqua Jump, you should anchor your Aqua Jump
attachments in at least 1o feet of water in an area at
least 30 feet from any docks, boats, or other
obstructions. This is especially true with the Aqua
Launch. |
| How do you anchor the Aqua
Jump attachments? |
It depends on the water depth, the water bottom,
exposure to high winds, and strength of the currents.
There is an anchoring point on the Aqua Launch and Aqua
Log that includes a stainless steel O-ring. You can
attach any anchor to that ring, or create an anchoring
mechanism of your own. |
| Can the Aqua Jump
attachments be used on land? |
The Aqua Jump attachments were not designed for use
on land. Like any inflatable product, the Aqua Jump
attachments should not be exposed to rough edges or sharp
objects like rocks and sticks. |
| How do you repair the Aqua
Jump? |
You can locate a leak in an inflatable product by
spraying the tube with soapy water. When you find the
leak and determine the hole size, use a patch from the
repair kit and cut a swatch 1/2 inches wider than the
hole. Deflate the product and clean the area around the
hole with rubbing alcohol. Apply glue from the repair kit
to the patch and the area around the hole. Let the glue
dry until it becomes tacky. Stick the glued parts to each
other and rub them together using a hard, flat, smooth
surface. Let the patch dry for at least 24 hours before
inflating. For bigger holes and tears, follow the same
procedure but put a patch on the inside as well as the
outside. |
| What is the warranty on
the Aqua Jump attachments? |
RAVE offers a one-year warranty for defects in
material and workmanship. If the product is being used
commercially, like at a camp or resort, there is a 60-day
warranty. |
| How do you maintain and
store the Aqua Jump attachments? |
To store the Aqua Jump attachments, you should first
clean the entire inflatable. After it dries, you can
deflate the tube using the an inflator or a shop vacuum.
Roll the tube loosely and place it in a container. (A
large plastic garbage can works well to store the tube
and keep safe from mice). |
